Yes. The MOT history, tax, clean air zone and running-cost information is free.
›Where does the data come from?
Reliability comes from DVSA's anonymised MOT test results, economy and CO2 from the Vehicle Certification Agency, and prices, sizes and performance from manufacturers' UK specifications and Euro NCAP. Number-plate checks use the DVSA MOT history service; for tax status we link to the DVLA's free check on GOV.UK. Government data is used under the Open Government Licence.
